Inspired by a revelatory trip to SXSW, Swn Festival co-founders Huw Stephens and John Rostron created a smaller version in their homeland of Cardiff. Now spanning four days and some 200 artists, the festival is a Fall favorite for music festival lovers from the U.K. and around the world.
Headliners this year include Everything Everything, straddling the border between electronica and indie.
Don’t miss the intense atmospheric sounds of producer-singer Ghostpoet as he takes you through the down-tempo. Welsh duo Golden Fable mix the ethereal with the grounded, combining acoustic sensibilities with synth-driven pop. Mr Scruff embodies DJing at its most creative as he throws together melodic nu-jazz and trip hop, culminating in a soulful sound you’ll love.
At the Photo Booth you can choose from a trove of vintage clothes and collectables, then have your photo taken and uploaded to Instagram or Facebook. Or play Swn Bingo, where the numbers have been swapped for your favorite songs.
