White Light Festival invites you to remove yourself from the daily city grind and appreciate the quiet spaces where creativity and contemplation live.
Highlights include Akram Khan Company’s Vertical Road, which takes you through a dance narrative about the Persian poet Rumi; renowned vocal and instrumental ensemble, Les Arts Florissants perform pieces from Baroque composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier who found music to be the intersection of faith and beauty; and the Philharmonia Orchestra performs Gustav Mahler’s Ninth Symphony, a deeply personal contemplation of mortality and hope.
