The International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven, Connecticut presents some of the most prestigious jazz, classical, dance and theater artists in the world and more than eighty percent of the performances are free.
Highlights include: Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang, love fail conjures a story of two unnamed lovers with music performed by legendary ensemble Anonymous 4; the award winning production from the National Theatre of Scotland, The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart; and Rosanne Cash closes the festival with a performance of her most recent album, The List, a deeply personal tribute to her father, Johnny Cash.
