Spring is in America, so it’s time to listen to the roots.
Catch the best in American roots music down south at the Suwannee SpringFest.
Festival fans come come early and stay late to explore the music and the 580 wooded acres along Old Florida’s Suwannee River, with twelve miles of hiking, biking and horseback trails.
Highlights this year include: genre-crossing bluegrass group Yonder Mountain String Band; fresh from his 2011 Americana Music Award and debut at Carnegie Hall, Justin Townes Earle straddles the Mason-Dixon line with his blend of folk and blues; Folk/Americana legend Guy Clark will deliver a masterful and charismatic live performance; and Hot Buttered Rum will arrive in their recycled vegetable oil biodiesel bus.
Sunshine. Beautiful environment. Sweet crowd. Great music. That’s a festival!
