Los CenzontlesGenre-defying band Los Cenzontles embrace the complex rhythms of Mexican traditional music with the trippiest vintage rock. Their latest release, Regeneration, is the third working with David Hidalgo (Los Lobos) and another triumph for a group that has its origins at Los Cenzontles Mexican Arts Center, a neighborhood cultural center in working class San Pablo/Richmond, CA.

In this podcast we talk with founder and band member Eugene Rodriguez about the center, the band and Mexican-American identity.
