Blitz the Ambassador: Hip Hop In the Native Sun

Blitz the AmbassadorGhanaian-born, Brooklyn-based MC, composer and producer Blitz the Ambassador has just released his second album – Native Sun. The album is a journey back through hip hop to the Caribbean soundsystem culture that preceded it, and on to its African roots.

In this podcast we talk with Blitz about bringing live instrumentation into hip hop, why he wanted to stream the album in its entirety on YouTube and why its important to control your artistic destiny.
