of PLAVO Theatre is an opportunity to meet with our work through series of events: theatre workshops, meetings, performances, video presentations.
During the program our aim is to show participants our idea of theatre as a place of self-researching, place of communication, space of open mind where some important things about ourselves and the world that surrounds us can be said.
Program will be divided in two parts, in two workshops, and participants will have the opportunity to participate in the workshop they chose or in the whole program.
During Two Open Weeks
participants will be introduced to PLAVO Theatre methodology of work developed through years, which is relying on laboratory theatre tradition and on human experience. This methodology puts into the background talent and artistic exhibitionism not only of actor but anyone who works in theatre and instead it puts forth inner, organic life of an individual which becomes a field of research and improvement.July 16 – 21, 2012Workshop Dance of Memory
led by Maša Jelić, actress of PLAVO theatre.
The workshop consists of introducing of participants into basic principles of actor's training, actor's improvisations and creation of actor's materials, which thematic frame will be defined in the course of the workshop.July 23 – 28, 2012Workshop Between Soul and Spirit,
led by Nenad Čolić, PLAVO theatre director.
Participants will be introduced into ideological principles of work through series of exercises aimed at researching of participants’ personal obstructions, obstacles, fears or shame which burden human communication even in everyday life, work on archetypes and researching of personal reasons for making theatre. In addition to practical exercises, the work will also consist of lectures, discussions, video presentations of PLAVO theatre and contemporary theatre performances.Registration:
