After the huge success of 2011, we are excited here at Sunrise Head Quarter to announce that Sunrise Celebration will be back in 2012 with a new date: from the 21st to the 24th of June, taking advantage of another Glastonbury fallow year and coming back to the Summer Solstice week end where it all began 7 years ago!

Sunrise is back for its 7th year, brighter, better and bigger than ever before, and returns to its original Summer Solstice dates!
Sunrise Celebration is one of the UKs premier underground festivals of music, creativity and sustainability, and one of the few genuinely 'green' events with a concentration on arts, music and culture.
It features a buzzing blend of cutting edge and contemporary culture, with a musical journey ranging through dub, world, ska, electronica, psy-trance, breaks, reggae, folk, Balkan beats and much much more...even old-time swing and a sprinkling of jazz!
4 days of magical sensory delight in the beautiful surrounds of Somerset's rolling green hills await you. Sunrise is a celebration of human creativity and potential, featuring all manner of inspiring talks & workshops to facilitate the growth of strong, sustainable co-supportive communities.

Sunrise Carnival StageAnother shake-up of last years Outdoor Stage, with live twisted circus tunes, electro, nu-folk and gypsy interspersed with wild and crazy circus performances from the Interstella Circus. As well as a mix of the old and new from our eclectic artist line-up, expect high wire bedevilry, bizarre dancers and extreme pyrotechnics.

Sunrise Solar Dance StageThe Sunrise Solar Dance Stage has been once more revamped to provide an even better sound and a better environment. This year's space will be twice the size of 2011s venue, including a new tent, a quality PA, top spec lighting, decor and visuals and a line-up to die dancing to...PLUS all run again on solar/wind energy thanks to Blue Solar.
This year the Dance stage is celebrating its most diverse range of quality, multi-genre artists to date. Hand-picked by Aliji, the line-up is sparkling with dance-scene legends and upcoming stars. With the intention of reaching out to a wider audience, the top acts from an immense range of genres will be tearing up the dance tent at Sunrise this year.
We are proud to continue the innovation and experimentation begun in 2010 - Thanks to Opus Pocus, we will again be able to present you with crystal clear Opus sounds at Sunrise, all powered from solar energy!
