Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city and is the perfect host for Celtic Connections, which spreads throughout the city center at venues ranging from the National Piping Centre to The Arches on bustling Argyle Street. There are so many great performances to see that getting a hearty start to your day is paramount.

This recipe is titled Potato Scones, but in Scotland they are called tattie scones. Often eaten at breakfast with runny eggs, they also make a nice late-night snack. So get out your griddle and the five ingredients for a heavenly start (or end) to your day at Celtic Connections.
