| Festival Description | The Académie Pianistique Internationale at Aix-en-Provence produces courses, stages, competitions and performances. This festival program concentrates on classical piano and typically performances include various French composers and generally fall within the categories of recitals, chamber music, or solos with an orchestra. Many villages in the Aix-en-Provence region play host to these concerts as the Festival intendes to include many of them across the region. The National Piano Competition, and International Piano Competition Les Nuits Pianistiques” take place on an annual basis.
