| Festival Description | Founded and directed by Frank Malfitano in 1983 the Syracuse Jazz Festival has featured a stellar line-up of jazz artists. The festival generously offers Free admission to all events that are open to the public. New this year to the festival program will be a late-night jam session with this year’s participating musicians. There will be a food court featuring food vendors including the world-famous Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. Each year the festival is dedicated to a musician who has made their mark on the jazz scene. This year’s tribute will be dedicated to the late guitarist Hiram Bullock. |
