| Festival Description | Over 20 chamber musicians converge on Giverny (in Normandy) for its annual Musique de chambre à Giverny. Concerts take place in various locations in the town, from churches to the Museum of American Art. Founded by the French cellist Michel Strauss, the Chamber music festival settled in Giverny in 2004 where G. Kurtag was invited to perform; H. Dutilleux participated in the 2005 festival; and Krzystof Penderecki participated in the Festival in 2006. |
