Street theatre's purpose is to seek an artistic relationship with the people of the town of Aurillac by bringing theatre to them directly in a public space. Artists and craftsmen of theatre by nature question and challenge one's identity. The festival seeks to enrich and nourish the public with this cultural and artistic event. National and international actors, observers and collaborative representatives together confront the current shapes of the theatre of street, of its frameworks of production and diffusion, of its possibilities of co-operation.
