Music fans from throughout Africa and the world are expected to attend the festival to see internationally acclaimed music icons perform. To ensure full security and participation, Fan Zones are being created in Lagos and across Nigeria where those who may not be able to afford the tickets can watch it live on big screens, at a very reasonable cost. In 2008 the festival took place in Washington, D.C., and London, England for the first time since the festival began in 2006. |
