Festival Description

Musica nova Helsinki is one of the leading contemporary music festivals in Europe. It takes place every second year in February/March. The programme consists mainly of works by living composers. Several concerts by international and Finnish artists take place in different locations creating an intense nine days of events and encounters. The artistic director is composer Johan Tallgren.
