| Festival Description | Porvoo is the place to be in September for virtuoso jazz guitar following in the footsteps of Django Reinhardt. The volunteer fire brigade building resounds to some of the most beautiful Finnish Romany singing and Romany tangos. There are concerts and an exhibition of vintage photographs at the Grand Hall. The idyllic cathedral church of Porvoo hosts the finest Romany spirituals. There is a seminar on the subject of the European Roma and Travellers Forum – ERTF. |
