The Faces Etnofestival takes place at Billnäs old iron works compound in Pohja municipality. The festival draws various categories of artists (musicians, painters, actors, dancers, etc.) from different parts of the world—Argentina, Sweden, South Africa, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Australia and Russia, to mention a few. Also the faces of multicultural Finland will be seen: performances carried out in cooperation with immigrants and original Finns include samba, salsa, capoeira and even some startling reggae sessions! This year, there will be even more dance and theatre acts and performances than previously programmed.
