Festival Description

The festival is held amidst the beautiful eastern Finnish lakeland scenery of southern Savo. The Kangasniemi Music Festival organises a diverse series of concerts in Kangasniemi, Pieksämäki and Hankasalmi. The main focus of the event is on vocal music, and the festival ends with the Kangasniemi singing competition, which is open to Finnish singers born in 1970 or later.
