| Festival Description | The youth jazz and rhythm music festival Tudengijazz/ Studentjazz started in 1983. The non-profit event has gathered foreign music students, and amateur musicians to its festival. In the past the festival hasa hosted over 90 young musicians during three days, with more than 1000 spectators. Festival has close relationships with all major Jazz and Rhythm-music promoters in Estonia; national as well as private TV and radio stations, the biggest jazz festival in Estonia Jazzkaar, Estonian Jazz Association, Viljandi Culture Academy, etc. Tudengijazz/Studentjazz has always tried to be as versatile as possible and that is why the concerts take place in various cities. |
