| Festival Description | Held since 1979, the aim is to present new music as well as to bring fourth long-forgotten but valuable compositions of Estonian classical heritage. Experts from abroad, mainly from neighbouringcountries, are invited. Performers are the best interpreters of Estonian music and at least oneacknowledged guest ensemble has been invited to perform their own national and also Estonian music. Every three years the final of the Lepo Sumera International Composition Contest is held along the Festival. The Festival is organised by the Estonian Composers Union in collaboration with Eesti Kontsert. |
