| Festival Description | The annual literary festival began in 2009 and features a conference, book fair, awards, and performances by local artistic groups. The performances are free and open to the public. The Festival participants include the poets, writers, playwrights, essayists and mixed media artists from the Philippines. The Festival is a forum where a range of writers gather to share their works. Philippine literary organizations, universities and schools, their students, faculty members, and researchers are an important element of the events that are part of the annual Philippine International Arts Festival (PIAF). |
