| Festival Description | Roskilde Spillemandsstævne is a meeting place for folk dancers and folk musicians from Denmark and Sweden who gather to play, listen to each other, get inspiration and dance. The dance tunes and the dances are traditional, but they are done in a contemporary way. The festival is held in the city of Roskilde. Roskilde was the first capital of Denmark, and has celebrated its 1000th anniversary. |
