Festival Description

The early music festival held in Regensburg (Ratisbon) takes place on the weekend of Pentecost annually in the World Heritage city of Regensburg and features vocal and instrumental music from the Middle Ages to the romance period in historic sites. Vocal and instrumental performances by national and international musicians take place in stunningly beautiful venues. The festival also features a big international sales exhibition of replicas of historical instruments, sound recordings, books and sheet music. Exhibitors from all over Europe will have a presence at the exhibition and make it become the largest of its kind in southern Germany. Admission to the sales exhibition is free!
