| Festival Description | The annual competitive music and drama festival began in 1972 and continues to provide local amateur musicians and actors of all ages the opportunity to perform in front of a supportive audience. Participants will also be able to watch the other artists perform and receive feedback from notable professional adjudicators. Categories include woodwind and brass, piano, strings, singing, choral and ensemble, speech (poetry, comic verse, prose, sacred text, prepared speech) and spoken song (Lyric or rap) and dramatic performance. The winner in each class receives a medal/cup. The performance venues are open to the general public. |
