| Festival Description | Mood Indigo, or more fondly known as Moodi, the annual cultural festival of IIT Bombay, has a theme every year which defines the mood of the festival and which is the unifying factor for all happening at the festival. The youth festival first took place in 1970. Mood Indigo, Asia’s largest college cultural festival, is IIT Bombay’s annual cultural extravaganza. Last year, the festival had over 150 events, and saw participation from more than 600 colleges with a staggering footfall of more than 72,000. The programming features live music performed by national and international artists in a rang of genres — rock, classical, fusion, traditional and more. In addition to the music roster there is sumo wrestling, dance, acrobatics and circus arts, juggling, synchronized swimming, experimental theatre, debates and speakers, buskers, competitions, fine arts and so much more… |
