| Festival Description | The festival of children’s dance and music features performances by troupes and ensembles from across the globe. Children from the ages of 5 to 18 years take part in festival. Participants on free days may take advantage of the beauty of the region by joining guided tours on striking out on their own. Hanioti is the pearl of the Greek sea which has more than 200,000 European tourists every year. It is situated on the first finger of the peninsula Chalkidiki in Northern Greece 100km south-east from Thessaloniki. It is a modern, touristic place with lots of beautiful hotels and suites. It also has a long sandy beach. In the very centre of Hanioti there is an amphitheatre in which the festival is held accompanied by several thousand visitors.
