| Festival Description | Rock in Rio is the ultimate place to see the world’s best rock musicians. The festival kicked off its first edition in 1985 to celebrate Brazil’s freedom from dictatorship to democracy and has continued the model of its festival ethos with festivals in Spain and Portugal. The festival is world renowned for the quality in which it is produced, the quantity of stellar acts, and its commitment to social and environmental causes. |
