| Festival Description | The festival unites the cultures between the border region between Germany and the Czech Republic. The festival's not only unites these two countries but also foreign nations with a colorful and attractive program in one of Europe's most beautiful regions. The genre crossing festival offers quality performances with a blend of young artists and famous interpreters. Nevertheless the concerts are still affordable—encouraging the audience to explore the region and to travel between the borders. The festival's goal is to establish new contacts through joint cultural experiences which can help built bridges and improve an understanding and the reconciliation. Since 2004 the festival has grown—stretching from Dresden to Waldsassen, from Cheb to Decín. |
