| Festival Description | Out The Box features local, national and international puppeteers who performances are oriented towards children and adults. The performances combine video, music, and visual arts. Performances take place throughout the day and every evening. The diverse programming features a range of performances and styles over the period of 10 days. |

Festival 2013:
- Out The Box Festival will take place annually, during the Spring University holidays for a maximum duration of 7 days. The next festival will take place in September 2013.
Events 2012:
- To maintain the integrity of our vision statement and commitment to our holistic objectives, we will be commissioning pre and post Out The Box Festival events. The first pre Out The Box Festival happening will take place in September 2012, focusing on communities living in Cape Town, particularly in previously disadvantaged areas, with a focus on social transformation through artistic excellence.
