The World Peace Festival believes that peace begins with the self, with each individual playing their part in the grand scheme of life. The festival programming serves to inspire and empower individuals to be at peace with themselves, others, and the environment. The peace initiatives seek to transform violent conflict and through understanding its causes. The unique strategy to engage people in building a framework of peace reaches out to grassroots causes to governments. Tools and methods that can be incorporated by individuals from all cultures to their countries organizations and leadership creates a partnership among all stakeholders. Cultural performances, and art and photography exhibits and speakers and discussion sessions round out the programming.
