| Festival Description | The improv festival celebrated its inaugural edition in 2010 with an international lineup of comedic artists performing and teaching workshops. Hilarious comedians and improvisers take to the stage with stand-up and sketch pieces in 40 minute sets. The festival is hosted by Sarasota’s Florida Studio Theatre. In the heart of downtown Sarasota is the Florida Studio Theatre (FST) that presents contemporary theatre. The Florida Studio Theatre consists of a village of theatres — the Keating and Gompertz Theatres, and the Goldstein Cabaret. The theatres offer a small and intimate atmosphere near the bay. |
