| Festival Description | The festival acquires its name from the fact that Pamela Travers, the author of Mary Poppins was born in Maryborough. The proud citzens set aside the festival to celebrate their connection to the world renowned nanny. This is the only Mary Poppins festival in the world. The celebrations include — art, culture and merryment for everyone. You can expect theatre, music, puppetry, circus, magic, workshops and more… You can enjoy seeing people dressed as characters in the iconic tale involved in street races. This is the perfect family festival. |
