The annual Emerge Festival features talented regional playwrights’ fresh new work. The festival serves as a platform for emerging playwrights in a supportive atmosphere where their new works come to life from script to stage. This is the place where new ideas and approaches can be found in an engaging space. The programming includes performances, workshops and showcases of work in various stages of development. Emerge is a concerted partnership among The Carriageworks, stage@leeds and Seven and city-wide organizations.
