89.9 KCRW presents Make Music Pasadena, Southern California’s largest free music festival. The events take place throughout Downtown Pasadena featuring over 100 bands and include more than 100 free concerts throughout Pasadena showcasing Grammy-award nominees, platinum record artists, and home-grown and emerging talent.
This free all-day, all-ages music festival will feature an adventurous mix of over 500 professional and amateur musicians performing in more than 30 impromptu public spaces including city buses, alleys, courtyards, churches, and libraries, etc. throughout Downtown Pasadena. The line up includes a dynamic offering of everything from indie rock, World, Latin, Jazz, Reggae, singer-songwriter, soul, and a lot more. The event hosts a variety of genres and musicians appealing to people of all ages. Bands from more all over the world will be playing in the crowned city to usher in the summer solstice.
