The annual Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival takes place in June at beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California, just a three hour drive north of San Francisco and two hours south of Arcata. With a large stage in the Main Music Meadow, three other intimate stage areas, workshops, kids’ area, camping, food court, music jamming area, and flowing creek, the annual Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a weekend with friends, family, and lovers of great music. Black Oak Ranch is home to the Hog Farm and Camp Winnarainbow-a circus camp for kids. Having garnered a reputation as a calm, peaceful gathering of music lovers, the festival grounds cover approximately 150 acres, with the event powered by bio-diesel generators.

Sister Maud Hudson joins her husband Garth on vocals. She is a remarkable and versatile singer who is known for her unique renditions of both familiar and obscure songs.
