| Festival Description | International Competition for Symphonic Wind Bands Ostrava, held in the City of Ostrava in the Czech Republic feature bands with a minimum of 45 and a maximum of 85 musicians. The bands compete in one of two catagories. Gold, silver and bronze prizes will be awared to the winning bands, and there are prizes for the best conductor and soloist. The bands are required to perform a test piece for the first category. |
