| Festival Description | Oklahoma City Theatre Company produces the annual Native American New Play Festival in the spring. From submitted play, a committee selects the three most outstanding for reading in a theatre format. The finalist’s selected play reading are open to the public where audience feedback is encouraged. From these plays the most outstanding is selected and will be produced at Oklahoma City Theatre Company during the next season. All submitted scripts must be by playwrights who are registered Native Americans on a federally recognized roll. |
