| Festival Description | Winter Magic Fest is an annual event that celebrates the Winter Solstice with a street parade, and loads of stalls, performances and fantastic atmosphere. Sunday is a family fantasy day at Leura Everglades and some Ghawazi troupe members will be improvising, dancing and acting scenes throughout the day to create magic for the childrenKatoomba's main street is given back to the community for the biggest street party in Australia and the inaugural City of the Arts, unleashes the extraordinary talents of the local community. Jugglers, gymnasts, musicians, dancers, choirs, troubadours, buskers, storytellers, poets, churches, children invite you to share the day with them. |

The most direct approach to the Blue Mountains is via the M4 Motorway, leading you from the outskirts of Sydney to the base of the Mountains at Lapstone, or use the Bells Line of Road via Windsor and Richmond as an alternate route. Distance from Sydney via Great Western Highway to Katoomba 110 km.- By train
