| Festival Description | In order to encourage the creation and circulation of new music works, the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble and the Goethe-Institut Portugal are organizing the 1st Forum for Young Composers, which will take place between the 17th and the 20th of May 2011 in Lisbon. The “1st Sond’Ar-te International Forum for Young Composers” is aimed to offer an opportunity to young music authors to compose new music and present it to a wider audience. The organizers intend to create a privileged space for exchanging ideas and experience between young composers and performers as well as organize a public performance of new works with the participation of the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble. The Forum is open to all composers who live and work in Portugal or in Germany. |
