| Festival Description | The festival features busking, bush dancing, poet’s breakfasts, and comedy shows. There’ll be get-together’s, pub sessions, luncheons and singalongs, a craft fair, an art exhibition and an Anzac tribute. There’ll be street performers and a parade. There will a touch of the Irish, evident in dance and in song. John O’Brien, the author of some of Australia’s most popular poetry. The festival celebrates the Irish-Australian connection, that is so evident in the poetry, and it celebrates the best of bush culture. |
