The Macao International Music Festival (MIMF) is an annual gala event organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government. Over the years, the Festival have won enthusiastic praise from the public.

The Macao International Music Festival is a one-month long annual event that runs in October. Its programme include opera, vocal, instrumental, jazz, pop, electronic, chamber and symphonic music ranging from mediaeval psalm settings to contemporary compositions, covering music from Eastern and Western cultures, different historical eras and styles, as well as a special focus on Chinese music. This rich combination of genres is set to make Macao the stage for fantastic multicultural musical experiences. This festival has not only brought in a host of professional musicians and works, but also serves as a role in implementing the MIMF’s principles of peace, brotherhood, mutual understanding and sharing with an open-minded and pursuing excellence.
