    The premiere performance is a co-commissioned by International Dance Festival Birmingham and Warwick Arts Centre and supported by DanceXchange. Rosie Kay is Associate Artist of DanceXchange. Rosie Kay Dance Company produces striking dance work that combines thoughtful, intelligent content and athletic physicality. Consistently cutting edge and always striving for new challenges. 5 Soldiers has gained considerable media interest due to its controversial and timely subject matter, and was featured on BBC Radio 4 Today programme and BBC news. 5 Soldiers toured the UK to 14 venues, including a unique performance a the Rifles Club, Mayfair, London. Rosie Kay Dance Company also reworked Double Points: K and presented it at the IADMS conference in Birmingham. The company have recently filmed a version of 5 Soldiers which will go online in 2011, and returned from a sell out International Premiere at Madrid En Danza dance festival in Madrid. 5 Soldiers will be touring the UK and internationally from Spring 2011.
