Since 1934 a series of concerts are performed annually, and now takes place over an entire week — usually in late October — to commemorate Bach’s birthday. Many international award winning artists are featured in the programming. The organizers, at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles are proud to have been partners with the leading local classical music station, KUSC.org. Supporters of the Los Angeles Bach Festival include the Recording Industries’ Music Performance Fund, the Al Sherman Foundation, the California Community Foundation, radio station KPCC, and the County of Los Angeles. |
