| Festival Description | South Louisiana’s Black Pot Festival and Cookoff is an annual festival of southern culture that takes place at Acadian Village in Lafayette. The festival programming offers a stellar lineup of folk and roots musicians, dancing and food. In addition there is on site camping and naturally — jamming. The music roster includes — Americana and old-time music, blues and bluegrass, jazz and swing, creole and Cajun/Zydeco, as well as Irish. You can also enjoy the annual events — an accordion contest, an old-fashioned black pot cook-off, and square dancing. Camping is available for tenting and RV parking. |
