Festival Description

The Carreño-Barbieri Festival for Pre-Professionals (formerly known as Carreño Dance Festival) features training sessions for serious pre-professional dance students. The classes include both the Cuban and British ballet traditions conducted by Jose Manuel Carreno and Iain Webb, the artistic directors of the festival. The classes include: Ballet Technique, Pointe/Variations, Repertory-Partnering, and Contemporary Dance. The class instructors include José Manuel Carreño, Margaret Barbieri, Iain Webb and guest instructors.
