| Festival Description | Since 1954 the festival has celebrated its numerous achievements and new aspirations. It has established itself as a cultural event of significant importance for the Croatian culture and at the same time assured its presence on European theatrical and musical maps. It must be remembered that many of the renowned and celebrated names of the greatest operatic and theatrical stages achieved their first recognition at the Split Summer Festival. |
