Voices of Africa (Vozafrica Festival)

The “Vozafrica” theatre festival has taken place annually since 2008. The events seek to develop and promote theater in Angola and the inter-provincial region. The festival serves to showcase and encourage dramatic groups and their works through performances and networking in a supportive environment. The festival serves to educate and entertain the general public about artist work by its citizenry. The cultural exchange and awareness that takes place has an impact on furthering collaborations and sharing among artists as well as to support the local economy by drawing festival-goers to the city.
