| Festival Description | The street festival/block party is held each Fall on the entire length of Gannaway Street from Main Street to Ragsdale Road will be blocked off. The event turns downtown Jamestown into a gigantic concert venue. Two stages will be set up at both ends of the street, and eight top-notch bands will provide music continuously throughout the afternoon and evening. Two beer gardens, a wine-tasting area, and food vendors will make sure no one’s thirst goes unquenched or appetite unsated. Shaded picnic areas and a mist tent will be on premises, and soft drinks and bottled water will be sold. A variety of arts and crafts vendors will also be on hand, as will several golf apparel and equipment sales representatives. |
