The historical place of Osor, where the existence of an antique and New Age theatre is confirmed from 1586 onwards, offers the ideal frame for a summer festival of music, which from 1976 onwards is being held under the name “Osor Music Evenings”. In the renaissance church Assumption of the Virgin Mary, music evenings take place in the months of July and August, when renown Croatian and international artists perform in front of a wide audience.
