| Festival Description | The annual Summer Festival of Opera at Killruddery presented by The Veronica Dunne international Singing Competition — will take place for two Sundays in July. The program includes two opera concerts featuring a miscellany of all-time favourite opera arias. Ireland’s Grand Dame of opera, Veronica Dunne, musically brings 17th Century Killruddery House into the 21st Century for two Sundays by hosting a Summer Festival of Opera and showcasing the best of Irish opera singers and winners of the 2010 International Singing Competition. Set in the beautiful Orangery at Killruddery House, Bray Co., Wicklow, these two Sunday miscellany concerts of opera feature many of the most sublime arias by the greatest of classical music composers including music from Verdi, Bizet, Puccini and many, many more, to compose a veritable treat for all music lovers with a series of performances by Ireland’s latest and best singing talents.
